Arles is a picturesque village in South France. Every summer there is the worlds most important art photo festival, the Arles Recontres.
So while I stayed in Marseille I took the chance to visit Arles for 2 days and visited some photo exhibitions. I also saw the impressive video installation of William Kentrigde which is just a 'must have'. You can see it until end of October.
Every serious photographer must visit Arles once a time. Ask a photographer about Arles. If you see a question mark on his face just kick him away ;-) However, on my walks through Arles I saw many 'signs of photography life'. I took them with my camera and then on my blog. Here they are!
